Saw a really good movie a couple of weeks ago. O.k., so I thought it was really good at least. The movie was Bridget Jones's Diary, and let me just tell you, it was like watching my life story on the screen in front of me. The only difference is that Bridget has a really cool accent and she actually has things work out for her in the end. Sigh, if only real life were that easy.
So I've been inspired. I finally dug out my journal, that has been hidden in my stuff for the past 6 months, and started writing in it again. I must admit, it is a very good stress reliever. It helps when I'm having those oh so crappy days which seem to be coming more frequently lately. Also reminds me that I have always been this crazy and that in itself is pretty darn reassuring.
Not much else is going on. Ready to get the heck out of here this weekend. A little miffed that I missed my show last night, West Wing that is. Sorry, I was a government minor after all. Besides, someday, that will be me. President that is. On second thought, I'd rather be Vice Prez. Less responsibility and more of the perks. Finally talked to the head honcho at job #2 tonight about me finally going out and covering games. I was really starting to get irked, considering he had told me that I would get out more this season. The only thing I've written so far this year was the girls soccer preview back in March. How am I supposed to improve in my writing if I'm not doing it?!
All right, enough of my complaining. I've got other stuff to do and I have to take some scores, get to leave early tonight because of major news stuff going on. Woo-Hoo!
Adios.
