I tried to post last night, honestly I did. However, because I was on a not too familiar computer at the house I'm house sitting at this week, it didn't quite go the way I wanted it to. Sooo, here I am again. Supposed to be working on my high school All-Star story but I left my notebook at the house and it's got all of my questions in it. Ugh, I'm so forgetful sometimes. O.k., all the time, one of the hazards of getting old.
Everyone's getting all excited about the 76ers and the NBA finals around here. Yippee. Woo-Hoo. Let me hold back my excitement. Sorry, I just can't get excited about the NBA. Actually, I don't get too excited about very many pro sports except for soccer and baseball. As far as I'm concerned the NBA finals could end tonight, tomorrow, 3 months from now, whenever.
Still not sure if I'm going to go to Hoboken for the 4th of July this year. As much as I'd love to go visit Chris and Leslie, I would like to save some dinero for my other trips this summer. Especially the trip to Nags Head in August. I can't wait to see all of the old group again. Should be a rocking good time.
There's really not much going on right now. Had another incident with the parents and hysterical phone calls at 1 a.m. on Saturday. All I can say is that we got through it, or should I say my parents got through it with me sleeping most of the time, and after I left around 5:30 they came to some kind of watershed in the relationship. Don't know where it's going from here. All I know is that I'm trying to stay out of the whole thing as much as possible. Sigh. I thought by the time I got to this age this kind of thing would be easier to handle. Guess no matter how old you get, anything involving your parents effects you in a big way.
So on that extremely positive note. I'm out the door. Oh, one last good thing. One of the guys here at work told me I was"looking good" the other night. Guess this whole losing weight is going well for one of them to say something. Go Me!
I rock the party.
