As you can tell, we made it back alive. Mainly because of the ineptitude (like the $1.50 word?) of our local meteorologists, who were forecasting 6-8" of snow, we only received around 3". Typical. Of course Bob would kick my butt for that since he works for the almighty WGAL Weather Center. Hah! The trip as a whole was a blast. It was nice to get away for a day, not having to worry about my phone ringing or anything goofy going on with my parents. The Caps sucked big time, lost 5-1. After the game Elena, Scott, Bob and I went out to a bar near Elena's house in Virginia. It was a good time. The place reminded me of a local bar here in York, Cobblestones, only smaller and with a dance floor. Sunday we left Washington around 3:30-4 and were back in York around 5:30. Granted I slept most of the way home (don't think I didn't get any flack for that one), but it was a pretty good ride.

Decided not to do Pi Nu National Council next year. It is just getting to be too much. I'm doing more writing here at the paper and things are progressing in the job search so I don't want to get into this and not be able to devote as much time to it as it needs. Sigh, maybe someday I'll be able to have just 1 job and live on my own. God only knows when that might happen.

Thinking I need a hair change. I need some kind of a change that's for damn sure. Sick and tired of the same old crap everyday. Really liking Calista Flockhart's hair on "Ally McBeal" right now. Don't know though, it would be some extra work in the morning. Might be too high maintenance for me. Then again, this is the new Wendy. The old Wendy was very low maintenance (can you say running out the door with wet hair and not caring every morning?). Maybe this may be the change I need...hmmm...feel free to email opinions.It's gwen75@hotmail.com in case you've forgotten.
