The expected drama of this past weekend never occurred. Shocking, I know. I was expecting several hysterical phone calls and the usual show of tears and yelling that accompany one of my parents episodes but it never happened. Talk about getting lucky! It may sound weird but the whole thing was almost a let down. After gearing myself up for some serious drama, it did not happen. Almost had a feeling of being let down. Ack. Anyway, my father has moved back into the house BUT (and this takes some nerve if you ask me) asked my mom to give hime "2 more weeks" to move his stuff totally back to the house. God. What a load of crap. Is it any wonder I do not believe half of what my father tells me?! I am not going to believe this whole thing until I see it. Jeez, I have become such a cynic.

So instead of the usual family escapades, my weekend was hi-lited by the 1st annual Beer Olympics held at the home of some new acquaintences in Mechanicsburg. It was a good time which was punctuated with a mighty big exclamation point during my 10 second keg stand. Yes folks, 10 seconds. Go me! Especially considering I have not done one of those things since my college days. Sigh, brings back memories. Good times. Good times. There were several other events I did not participate in but acted as official (meaning I got to drink the leftover beer). It really was just a fun event. Mike and Jess are planning on having another Beer Fest related event after their move. I of course will be in attendance.

Bob's in Costa Rica. Lucky him. I could have gone, but then I wouldn't be able to afford Ireland in February so I decided not to go. Besides, he can be down there with our friend Brent and act like the stupid 18 year olds most boys are. Did I mention I'm excited about going to Ireland? I've been reading the Irish Timeson line almost everyday. Woo-Hoo! Speaking of going away, only 8 more weeks until Nags Head. Can't wait to get the heck out of here!

Resume is going out today. Keep your fingers crossed, it's for a newspaper in Gloucester, Mass.. Smaller than the YDR but you have to start somewhere, right?

Nighty night kiddies.
