Just got some very good news. I have been asked to start working as an editorial assistant over in the news department! Woo-Hoo! All I would be losing is my Sundays. No biggie. Only time it may put a cramp on things is when I go away this summer and that is only really 3 times (NYC, Nags Head, Wendy G's wedding). No biggie. Cool thing is that I'll be learning copy desk stuff. Just one more step in my journey toward a full-time job in the newspaper biz. Look out NY Times. Beware Boston Globe. Here I come!
