I am beginning to wonder if there isn't something to this whole internet dating thing. My friend Anne signed up on Match.com a couple of months ago and has since gone on several dates with some very interesting people. Out of curiosity (like I said, spelling was never my strong suit) I hopped on to Lavalife the other night, put in my age range (22-35) and started checking out the guys who have their info on line. There were definitely some hotties on there. Even found one not that far from here. Almost has me convinced to put my picture on the site and see what happens. Almost being the key word. I couldn't handle the rejection if no one emailed me or talked to me. Heaven only knows I'm not much to look at.

Went to a very swinging party on Saturday. One of the guys I work with at job #2 held his annual Jimmy Buffet party. I haven't partied like that since my college days. There was a lot of food and drink, including a margarita tent which I spent most of my day in. Towards the end of the night a bunch of us diehards pulled together and started playing that old college drinking game stand by, asshole. Or government as I taught it to my park kids, but I digress. I am proud to say I was President for numerous rounds and never got any lower than being in charger of the treasurey. I rock.

Started getting back to my political roots again. During the end of my high school career and throughout college I was very much involved in the political scene. Even helped in the rebirth of the College Democrats at Ship. With graduation and work though I've kind of lost touch so now I'm getting back into the organizations I was once so involved in, starting with the Sierra Club. A worthy cause to help keep our enviornment clean.

Lost track of time. Better get back to work. Until later. Blah.
