Our wonderful president is bound and determined to bring on World War III. State of the Union is tonight and supposedly he is going to get into why we need to invade Iraq and get Sadam out of there. Please. While I can not argue with the notion that living conditions in Iraq are not very good, who are we to say when and how a change should take place? Also, does anyone (beside my friend Brad) really trust this guy to take us into war? I mean, come on! To me it just seems like a lot of posturing to try and do something to stimulate the economy (it is a historically proven fact that in times of war a country's economy will improve. Trust the history major.). In the mean time we will see our friends and family get sent off to the Middle East to fight a war they really don't want to and watch gas prices go sky high! I bought gas Saturday at a local convenience store and paid $1.47 for the lowest grade. Jeez.

I guess there is one good ray of sunlight in all of this. Our esteemed president has managed to keep our former governor out of the state so a Democrat can get back in there and actually get something accomplished. Especially on the education front. Damn you Ridge for what you've done to the educational system in this state!

Now I will climb off the soapbox and go have some tea.
