You know how things get bad and just keep getting worse as the day goes on. Yeah, count today as one of those. Problem is I can't tell if it was just an all around bad day or if it was just my imagination. My afternoon got worse when I was bombarded by phone calls and unable to catch up on my expanding inbox. The headache got worse and by the time I walked out the door at 4:30 p.m., I was ready to drive right onto Route 83 and not look back! Heck, I was so out of sorts I came home and did two shots of peach schnapps before I came into job #2. Not a good thing. Of course, 95% of the problem is a serious case of PMS that could cause me to burst into tears in .005 seconds. Or tear the head off the next person to really tick me off.
Gee, my review at job #2 tonight should be just peachy.
We got the good news Saturday night that the team is now officially a team. Starting in April we will have regular ice time at the rink and in October will be joining a league consisting of about 8 teams I think. Woo-Hoo! Issue now is picking colors and a name. We are having the hardest time with that one. Personally I like The Mother Puckers but that one is not going to fly. Colors I could care less, as long as I get to be #43. That was number when I played soccer in college. The really cool part about all of this is we are the first all female ice hockey team in this area! Go us! It's really neat to think that in the next 10 or 15 years we could have a good program well under way for girls who want to play hockey. Sweet.
Wilmington Writers Conference is coming up in April. Tee-hee. Lyzz and I are definitely going again this year. Some of the fun people we hung out with last year won't be along but we'll have just as much fun. Heck, we will make our own fun. Giddy up.
