Not feeling all that spiffy today. The allergies are a little worse (hence the return to my glasses) and I went out for a drink with Lyzz after we hit deadline last night. Usually not a brite thing to do when I have to get up for job #1 the next day. I was suffering this morning when the alarm went off at 6 a.m., then 6:10, then 6:20 when I finally pulled myself out of bed for my shower. Must have been good timing (sarcasm) because room mate Marti decided to hop in her shower at the same time so I was the one left without hot water or pressure for that matter. Sigh. I miss living alone.

Picked up a new bag at Target yesterday. Originally went in for a few necessary items ie: light bulb and kleenex and came out with those plus the new bag. Purses and shoes. My definite downfall. No matter how hard I try I just can not pass up a good pair of shoes (especially if they are on sale) or a good bag. Probably why my financial situation isn't all that great anymore. Looking forward to a nice size tax refund, if I ever get them done, to pay off a chunk of my credit card bill. Bob has a hard time understanding why I have not payed the whole thing off yet. Hmmm, let's see, could it be the student loan payments, car payments, rent, phone bill and electric bills I pay each month? Easy for him to say, he doesn't have the student loan payments, rent, phone bill or electric to pay since he still lives at home. I do feel bad for him though. I know he's trying hard to get a meteorology job full time and his mother drives him about as nuts as my mom does me. Yeah, he needs to move out soon.

My friends Chad& Jen just recently bought their first house. Looks pretty nice from the pictures he has posted on the website. Have to admit, I'm slightly jealous. Not only do they have the good marriage but now they are taking the next official step as adults. God, I still feel like I'm stuck in college mode. Except for the crappy job I almost am still stuck in college mode. Bugger, phone's ringing. Hang on....I hate when that happens. Now I forgot what I was talking about. Oh yeah, college mode. Kind of funny considering I'll probably be going back to school next fall (2004). On the upside, I intend on quitting job #1 and just picking up another part time job so I can take classes during the day.

Championship week. Oh yeah. I love this stuff! Selection Sunday is this week. Duke is definitely in, the question is where they will be seeded. If they do win the ACC tournament they could possibley get higher than a #4 but I think that is the only way it will happen. I was surprised I didn't get a taunting email from Leslie after the last polls came out. Syracuse was 11, Duke #12. I have her sympathy card all ready for her. LOL, I know she has mine ready to go too. It's just a silly tradition we started back in college. Who ever's team goes out of the tournament first get's the card. Stupid, I know, but that's why we've been friends for almost 15 years.
