Things I learned from my trip to St. Louis...

1. I can not ever spend 16 hours in a car with my grandmother ever again if I want to maintain my sanity. I love the woman but by the time we hit Columbus on Sunday I was ready to push her out of the car and tell her to walk home.

2. The arch is not as big as it seems. Not unlike some of the men I've dated.

3. My 20 (almost 21) year old cousin has his life more in order than I ever have or probably ever will.

4. The Steak & Shake chain needs to move east so I can eat their wonderfully good shakes on a daily basis.

5. I have low tolerance for stupid people behind the wheel that tailgate for several miles, pass and then slow down once they get in front of you. Mr. New Jersey, you know who you are.

I've got my profile up. And talk about the ego boost! Holy pete! Why can't I get this kind of attention in real life? I posted my profile Wednesday afternoon and had 4 emails Thursday morning. I couldn't believe it. I've been emailing with a guy not too far from here. He's slightly older but we seem to have a lot in common. There were several others I intend on emailing back. Now I'm in a position I've never been before, too much at once. I hit panic mode for about 5 minutes today when I opened my email and saw about 10 email messages in response to the profile. I have a call into my guru, Kristen, for some help.

Oh god, I better get going, I didn't realize I was that close to deadline. Bugger. Freaking Minnesota just tied the game. Bastards. My Av's better win. That's all I have to say.
