I dragged it out of Lyzz tonight what the story was behind my phone call Friday. Seems as if I made quite an impression in 45 seconds two weeks ago. She said Pete told her and Dan he was "intrigued". Hmmm, interesting. I guess it's a good thing. I'm starting to get nervous. Oh jeez, five days until this thing actually happens and I'm nervous already?! Good thing I've still got one more hockey practice before our hiatus. I can get out some of that nervous energy Wednesday night.

Marti returns tonight. Then she's off again on Thursday for New Orleans. This time she will be gone for 10 days! Weird. I'm getting so used to being there by myself I'm not going to know how to handle it when she does come back. I have it figured out that we're only going to be home at the same time for about 3 weeks this summer. Nothing like having a non-existent room mate.
