What a kooky day. Normally job #1 goes at about a snails pace and I'm begging for a time machine by 2 p.m. to fast forward to 5. Today flew by. Now job #2 is going soooo sloooww. Ugh. I'm caught up on my regular duties and becuase of the ever present rain, we don't have anything local going on. Bummer. So now I'm playing on the internet. I've totally gotten hooked on Quizilla. Being the 80's child I am, I just took this test:

Ray
You Are
Ray!
You are a child at heart, and you really love fire
poles.

What Ghostbuster Are You?
brought to you by Quizilla

If I see anymore worthy of passing on I will.

The O's game is still on for tomorrow night. Even with rain in the forecast Bob and I will still go. I love rain. There is nothing better than splashing around in puddles. I can just picture it now, puddle jumping all the way down Lombard St. Lol, Bob would probably just roll his eyes and pretend like he doesn't know me. Hey, might as well have fun while I still can! If he wants to be an old fuddy-duddy (I love that word) then so be it. Got to love us Saggitarians ( I think I just made that up).

Stopped by my parents house today to pick up a few things from my mom. She's a lunch lady at one of the local middle schools (my alma mater to be exact). At the end of each school year they clean out the kitchen and split up whatever is left over. This time around I snagged some bags of potato chips and scooter crunches. What is a scooter crunch you ask? Welll, they are an ice cream concoction like a fudgecicle with vanilla and chocolate ice cream coated with chocolate crunchy things. The potato chips were broght into work with me for the vultures to snap up. I ate a scooter crunch before I came in to work and did not feel one iota of guilt about it. As soon as it's creamy goodness hit my tounge I was in heaven! Besides, we had a very hard workout at hockey last night. That has to count for something. I always get a little tense going to the house. After all the crap that's been going on I have this fear that a melt down will happen while I'm there and the whole drama will start all over again. Sigh. At least I got to get some puppy time in. Poor Wojy. I miss having that kind of unconditional love. No matter how crappy my day was, he was always there to cuddle up on the couch and watch Sports Center with me. Wonder if I could kick out the room mate and get a dog. Hmmm.

A legend in journalism has passed. I always enjoyed David Brinkley's reports. The man pulled no punches, that's for sure. Cool thing, he started out at a newspaper. Can you see me doing the evening news?! Lol.

Hey, stranger things could happen.
