This has been a most wonderful weekend. Nothing in particular happened to make it so good, it just was. You know what I mean? Friday night Bob and I went out with some of his buddies from work to a place called The Glad Crab. Total local bar. We drank overpriced Yuengling Lager, played a little pool and dragged our overly buzzed selves to Denny's at 2 a.m. Just like in college. Ahhh, good times, good times...until I tried to get up Saturday morning. Ugh. Brutal. I didn't roll out of bed until close to 11:30 a.m. Saturday morning. Saturday I just ran around and did some errands, watched Penn State lose and took a nap. That night was another hockey game. We lost. Again. Sigh, my rookie league team is now 0-9-2. Yep. No wins yet. We keep getting close then losing it in the last period. I almost got into a fight on the ice when this little chickie from the other team started trying to play all tough in the last 10 minutes. Ha! She was picking on the wrong hockey chica. I may be short but I do not put up with that kind of crap (can you say anger issues?). Lucky for me the other girl was not that good of a skater and all I had to do was elbow her as we were both going for the puck. Lol, she went flying into the boards. Serves her right!

Today Bob, Deb, Dave and I went to the Apple Harvest Festival. The weather was beautiful! Unfortunately we did not get to stay that long because of my needing to be back for work and Deb needing to drive back to Virginia tonight. The food was very good (I brought home some birch beer) and the crafts were cool. Bob kept insisting he was there to act as my conscience and stop me from buying more baskets. I told him to bugger off, even though he was right. Not that I would ever admit that to him though. Besides, we leave for Williamsburg in four days and I should be saving my money for that.

Just in case anyone was wondering, here is an idea for my birthday (you have 48 more shopping days by the way)...

"A DVD of U2's September 2001 performance from Ireland's Slane Castle will come out November 18. Titled "U2 Go Home," the disc will feature 19 songs including "Beautiful Day," "Sunday Bloody Sunday" and "With or Without You." The show marked the 20th anniversary of the band's first appearance at Slane. In 1984, U2 recorded their fourth album, The Unforgettable Fire, at the castle. The "U2 Go Home" DVD includes a documentary of the making of that LP. ..." - MTV.com.
