I hate the day before a holiday. Half of the staff at job #1 were not at work either because they took the day off or, well, just decided not to show up. Nice. For some reason I have a warped sense of responsibility and showed up today. Woo-hoo. The past two hours have been torture. The phones aren't ringing and I hit the wall right when I came back from lunch. Ack. I feel like an 8 year old on the day before Christmas break. Let me out, let me out!

As the week as been going by I've been compiling a mental list of things I will not miss about job #1 here they are in no particular order:

- No need for 10 Advil before lunch
- No more stupid phone calls from even more idiotic employees at evil empire #1 and evil empire #2.
- Requests for reports that take 1/2 of my day at 3:00 p.m. by bosses #1-5.
- Lack of cell phone reception (we're talking boonies here people)
- Leaving my house 45 minutes before I'm supposed to be there to avoid traffic
- Did I mention the headaches?
- The 80 pizza places in the 10 mile vicinity of where I work
- The lack of respect for my position and all that I do for this hell hole
- The constant thermostat battles with the International Department. They like it hot (punch it up to 80!), I like it not so hot (68 baby, no higher than 72!)

That's just a small sample. I'm sure I'll think of others as the weeks tick by. Yesterday I made up a song to Ode to Joy about it but I can't remember the words. Funny, I almost feel like myself again. I actually find myself in a good mood when I leave here. A few months ago I remember posting about how I didn't feel like myself anymore. About how for some reason I felt like I lost the bounce in my step. The jiggle in my jello. Well it's coming back with a vengance!

Now because I love this movie so much, here's a little something for the long weekend. Have a happy Turkey Day!

Buttercup
You are Princess Buttercup. You lost your love,
Westley, long ago and now believe him to be
dead. Because of this nothing matters much to
you. You are brave, willfull and strong
hearted ... not only that but you are darn sexy
too!

Which character from The Princess Bride are you? (with pics)
