Sooo, it doesn't look like I'm going to meet my goal of being 10lbs lighter before the reunion at the end of the month. The only blame for it belongs squarly on my. If it wouldn't be for hockey I wouldn't get much exercise at all. Bad, bad, bad. My eating habits have slacked off too. While I haven't stopped at McDonald's for a baccon, egg and cheese biscuit in a long time (why don't I just rub the fat right on my ass?) I still have not been eating well. I could say it's because of TOM or lack of time but those are just excuses. What it boils down to is pure unadulterated laziness. Not taking the time to make my lunches at home and take them to work. Coming home in between jobs and instead of exercising or putting together something healthy just sitting on my butt then making a quick stop at Wendy's or Quiznos. Sigh. I need to get back into the mindset I was in during L.A. Weightloss. I need a cheerleader. Someone to keep me on track and kick my butt when I don't. The ladies I've met here are doing a damn good job of it. The rest of it is up to me. I need to get back on track. As I was meandering about the internet tonight I found this site. Besides the cool name it looks like a great resource.
Room mate Marti has a date this weekend. After months of listening to her whining about not finding any decent guys in the area she has gotten herself a date with a local. I don't know if I'm ready for her to be back in the dating scene or not. Usually Room mate Marti with a boyfriend involves a lot of me being stuck in my room and keeping my eyes averted as I walk back into the apartment. Which I pay 1/2 the rent for I might add. Sigh. At least one of us will be getting some action.
