Looks like everyone across the pond is all atwitter about W's arrival in London. On my radio station today that is all they were talking about. W showing up on London in all his cowboy glory. You've got to love the British sense of humor though. A woman, a 61 year old grandmother I might add, found a definitely creative way to show her displeasure with the visit. What kills me is that Blair is freaking clueless about why Britons are acting the way they are. Duh. Mr. Blair pretended he was an American President for a little bit back in the beginning of the Iraqi war, ignored his constituent's wishes and pushed the U.K. into a war that is causing more casualties than are necessary. I have the feeling that just like his American counterpart, Mr. Blair is going to get the boot in the next round of elections.

Speaking of, I got my Dean for America pin on Saturday. The more I see his campaign take off the more I think he has an excellent chance of coming out on top as the Democratic nominee. This guy really has a chance at beating W. Especially if the situation in Iraq keeps going in South. The real tests will be in the first two primaries in New Hampshire and Iowa. Traditionally the kick off of the major campaigning season. Trust me kids, you haven't seen anything yet from these guys (and girls) trying to be the next big kahuna.

Everyone at job #1 is all in a tizzy about tomorrow. The big guns are coming for a board meeting and the president of our company is going freaking nuts. Friday and today he went around to everyone's desk and had them "tidy" up. I was forced to remove some things from my incrediblely boring cubicle walls. The first thing that went in the trash was my I HATE HOME DEPOT sign. Some people have no sense of humor. We were also told to dress nicely for tomorrow. I was going to anyway but now I'm going all out. If I knew I wouldn't cause trouble I would wear my formal shiny red dress. Just to screw around with them. But since I still have student loans, a car payment and a credit card bill that is out of control I'll play nice and suck it up tomorrow. I can pretend to be nice for one day at least.

Heck, at the very least I'll have the Macaroni Grill to look forward to after my day is over. Mmmm....pasta. But not too much, have to eat well the rest of the day so I can have something good at night. Sigh.
