Slightly happy to see this weekend come to an end. Way too busy for words. Friday night I went shopping after work. Ha, busting the budget is more like it! Despite my best efforts I overspent my hard earned dinero at Old Navy. I ended up buying one of these, which is what I really needed anyway. I also picked up a new pj set, it was cute, I couldn't resist. Also grabbed a long sleeved t-shirt and because I needed something to wear today for the baptism and Friday for the reunion I purchased a new longsleeved shirt. Nothing too tacky but in a color I normally don't wear. You know, spice things up a little bit.

Speaking of the baptism it was very nice. Alex didn't stir a bit when they did the water on the head thing. He was very cute in his little white outfit. Awwww...so sweet. I love getting him to laugh. He gets this great little grin on his face then makes this cute little noise. Lol, I can't wait until he's a little bit older. Auntie Agategoddess is going to have lots of fun hanging out with the little guy. It was also nice to see some people that I have been friends with for a long time, but just don't hang out with too much anymore. The combination of work, relationships and the like just keep us from getting together as often as we used to. Sigh. It was nice to know we can pick up where we left off and not be awkward about it. I wasn't sure Bob and I were even going to make it this morning. I didn't get home from my hockey game until 1:30 a.m. last night and forgot to set my alarm. Duh. I opened my eyes at 9 a.m...this is after being on Bob's case all week about picking him up at exactly 9 a.m. Sigh. I took the fastest shower on record, jumped in the car with wet hair, picked up Bob and managed to get to the church just in time. Do I rock or what? Bob of course got all over my case about it but that's o.k. I'll let him think he's winning this time around ;)

I talked abuot the possible job change with Bob today and believe it or not he was very supportive of it. I think I'm going to stick it out at job #1 until the end of the year then hand in an application at Red Lobster at the beginning of January. If I work there 3 or 4 days a week on top of the paper and Mary Kay, I am pretty sure I can swing it. Heck, if worse comes to worse and the whole Mary Kay deal doesn't pan out I will at least have a bigger kick in the butt to find a writing job. So Erin's sending me some consultant agreement I need to fill out and I'm going to get an orientation type session when I go to Philadelphia at the beginning of December.

A new chapter begins! It's so exciting...heck I'm just giddy at the thought I'll get to tell my bosses at job #1 I'm getting the heck out of there!
