Today was an absolutely fabulous day! The sky was a wonderful shade of blue, work was almost enjoyable and I was able to speak to someone I haven't seen or spoken to in a long time. The whole thing has just made me smile all day long.
I hope the good vibe continues into tonight while I'm working at the Lobster. One can only hope, but I'm not crossing my fingers or holding my breath.
Sunday my peace and quiet comes to an end. The room mate and his dog will both be back in the house. As much as I hate to admit it I'm ready for them to return. The other morning I was just coming out of a sleepy fog and could have sworn I heard someone walking around in the house. The noise stopped but I sat bolt upright in bed, ready to run down the steps with my hockey stick if need be. Eventually I went back to sleep but the whole thing really spooked me. Last night I slept with my cell phone right next to me. And I locked my bedroom door. It takes a lot to freak me out and boy was I freaked. Shudder.
Enjoy your weekend kids, I've got a full calendar for the next couple of days so I may not get to update anytime before Tuesday. We'll see though. Kristen's wedding is tomorrow so I'm sure there will be stories from that. Especially if I'm forced to do the bouquet toss...to quote the great Monty Python "Run away, run away!"
