My very own Posie bag.


Posie bag #2 (going to the sis).

Yesterday I had the great honor and delight to speak personally with the very nice Alicia, owner and founder of Posie. Awhile back, Alex of Alex The Girl, mentioned Posie and the very affable Alicia as one of her very favorite things. Being the curious girl I am, I hit the link on Alex's site and instantly fell in love with the handmade goodies she offers.

Of course, I'm a purse whore of the worst kind. I get it honestly. My mother buys a new bag with each season. Soon she'll be looking for her "spring" bag. I don't go that far but it isn't unusual for me to pick up a random bag if it catches my fancy. Doesn't matter if I just bought my bag for the season or not. If that bugger is calling my name, I'm buying it.

I've been coveting one of Alicia's fine creations since the first time I was on the site and now I've treated both myself and my sister (also a major purse whore) to one. She's more into pink so she is receiving the "Monica" (all of the Posie bags have cute girl names). I was torn between the "Meredith" and "Merisol". Meredith won as Merisol had already been sold.

The bags should arrive in a few days and let me tell you, it's about the most exciting thing I have going right now. The room mate is getting sick of hearing me count down that's how bad it is.

Oh well, I am living the lonely life again, I've got to have something to look forward too, right?
