Lord of the Flys, part deux

The much anticipated construction on my office building started this week.

Part of the plans call for the addition of more space that will occupy what used to be parking spots. Because people around here are creatures of habit, the blocking off of 1/4 of the spaces did not go over well. It has become something out the Lord of the Flys in the parking lot.

God forbid you leave for lunch and leave a much coveted close space open.

It sure as hell won't be open when you get back.

On top of the lack of parkin, we've also obtained a new feature on our desks. Vibrating. God only knows what the construction crew is doing out there but three days in a row now my desk goes through a vibration stage in the morning.

Well, at least that's some excitment in my day.
