We now return you to your regularly scheduled apathy

Today was Primary Election Day in Pennsyltucky. People flocked to the polls to exercise their constitutionally given right to pull the lever and have a say in the way this great country is run.

And if you believe that, I've got a bridge in Brooklyn for ya that's real cheap.

This story says it all. Not only was turn out light. It was damn near nonexistant. I didn't vote until just about 30 minutes ago, choosing to go to the gym post work then walk the two blocks to my polling place. Talk about empty. The woman who greeted me just inside the door was so enthusiastic about my presence I thought maybe she had just gotten back from Gilligan's Island.

What a change from this last fall. People were lined up out the door and around the block. Now. Well it's more of a Eh, it's only the primary. We'll vote in the fall kind of vibe. Whatever. When you don't like your choices in the main election, I don't want to hear your crying. You could have had your say. But no, you decided something else was more important.
