So I may not be all that good at keeping up with this thing. I didn't realize that people were actually reading this, jeez, I'm flattered.

Ladies and gentlemen, the Jetta is no more. Yes, I finally got rid of the P.O.S. and bought a car that will run everyday, not just even days and every other Thursday. Last Saturday I went and bought myself a new Saturn. Say what you will about American cars, but my parents have had one since my senior year of high school (almost 9 years, god do I feel old) and the thing is still running great. Even with the over 100,000 miles it has on it. Talk about durability. I guess if I had listened to them in the first place I wouldn't have had to go through all this again. So for the record...ahem...Mom and Dad, you were RIGHT!

College basketball season is upon us and my Dukies are starting to show some wear and tear. Granted they still are one of the top ranked teams in the NCAA, but I'm starting to get a little worried. Especially after that recent loss to UVA. Ugh. Talk about ripping my still beating heart right out of my chest! Somewhere Mr. Lau is in his glory and it needs to stop. Soon. On an up note, the Blue Devils get a chance to redeem themselves against Carolina (Go To Hell Carolina!) in a few weeks and you bet your bippy I'll be rooting for them to cause some serious damage in the Deandome.

One of my best friends from high school comes home tomorrow for a visit. I can't wait. I really miss all of my friends. The best part though, is that we've all managed to stay so close even though we're all scattered to the four corners of the world. Literally. Hopefully we'll get to hang out and do a Denny's run for old times sake.
