Woo-Hoo Duke is #1 baby! Yeah Boy! Yes folks, my beloved Blue Devils are the #1 team in college basketball and all I have to say is I TOLD YOU SO! The best part is that I managed to win both of the office pools here at job #2. Jeez do I rock. It's not that often that I have things going my way and boy does it feel good. Now if only there were more than 24 hours in a day...hmmm...

Getting ready to head out to Philadelphia this weekend. As it may be assumed, I love to travel. My hometown in o.k., but I enjoy the whole point of getting out of here for a day or two. This time I'll actually be going to a convention for the honorary music fraternity I was in while in college, Pi Nu Epsilon. We're not very big, but there are 4 chapters still kicking strong and we're hoping to get out there and get expanded into other colleges and universities. Since I had so much fun in Pi Nu when I was in college, I want to stay involved. It may seem like I'm trying to relive my college years, but honestly, I'm not.

Not much of anything else is going on. Plugging away at class, we only have 2 more real class times left and then our big group paper is due. Have I mentioned I hate writing group papers? Everyone's style of writing is different, you may not all agree on what should be included, etc., etc. Just one big headache. Just what I need. Work is work. We're getting busy at job #1 with the warm weather starting and job #2 is crazy with the spring high school season getting underway. Good thing about that is I'll be out covering more games this time around.

Can't wait for the end of May. I'll be traveling up to Boston to see Erin again. Have I mentioned I absolutely love that city?! Someday I'll live there, for now though, where I am is o.k. Don't know what it is about Beantown that I like so much, but I just love the place. This time I'm going to try to drive. Should be interesting but I think I can handle it. My friend Bob is supposed to be coming along so maybe the 7 hours won't be that bad. I'm hoping to stop in New York on the way back through to visit some friends too. Should be fun.

Gotta run. My contacts are sticking to my eyeballs and I've got to be up for job #1 in about 5 1/2 hours. Ugh.
