Since I have some time to kill and don't have anything to do, thought I'd update the old blogger here. Preparing myself for the debacle that is going to be my friend Bob's birthday excursion tomorrow night. Leslie (my friend in Hoboken) is home so we planned a little something for him involving lots of alcohol and humiliation. The best part is that I will be sober enough to remember everything the next morning. Tee-hee. Can't wait.
Got some very exciting news today. Looks like the Durham relatives will be up for Thanksgiving this year. Yeah! I can't wait to see them all. My Great Uncle Harry and Aunt Mary, cousins, etc. will be making the excursion to PA for a couple of days, so we'll get to catch up and hang out. Don't be too surprised if I suddenly pick up a southern accent. I have a bad habit of slipping into one when I'm around them. Also got the green light to take my cousin Jason's kids for an afternoon of movie and really bad for them food. Should be fun. I'll load them up on sugar and then return them. Which is just they way it should be. Not that I don't like kids mind you, in fact, I want to have a couple of my own someday, for now though the old take and give back satisfies any maternal instincts I may have.
Doing a lot more writing lately. It's kind of weird. One minute my editor acts like I'm not even here and the next I'm doing 4 stories at once. I don't know. I'm just going with the flow.
Beyond the usual boring stuff it's life as usual here in South Central PA. For those of you who know the area you know how exciting that is, um, yeah, right. The biggest news around here is the fact that we may finally get a semi-pro baseball team. Woo-hoo. Hold me back.
On that note, LAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. Sorry had to do it.
I'm outy. Nighty night.
