Today was such a good day. No particular reason either, just was a really good day! Since they seem to be so few and far between, I've come to appreciate days like this. The sun was shining, the sky seemed an especially bright color of blue, work went well and I lost 3 more pounds. Yee-ha! That makes a grand total of around 48 pounds lost. Go me! God, I can't wait to run into people I haven't seen in a long time. Especially all those jerks who dissed me before. They can kiss my much smaller butt now!

Found out my friend Dave is coming into the area next week. At least that is what Lyzz told me. I hope he makes it back here for a visit! I miss him. Heck, I miss all of my friends who have moved away. Sigh, everyone keeps leaving me. I'm starting to get a complex. By the way, Yaz, if you're reading this, would you take 5 seconds from your day and send me an email. I know you're a big time editor at the New York Times and all but all I'm asking for is a little message to say hi and let me know how things are going in Hoboken, which I'll will be in on Dec. 2 by the way.

Some random thoughts....
Still waiting to hear back from the guy I went out with. I'm assuming he got moved o.k. last week and will email me when he gets his new internet provider. Who knows. Guess I'll just have to be patient for once in my life. Yeah, right, like that's going to happen...College basketball gets underway with the Coaches for Cancer Tournament tonight. Awww Yeah! Even better, my Dukies have been picked #1 in the preseason AP poll. Should be a great season...Making plans for Bob's birthday next week. I told him Leslie and I had something planned for him and he asked if it was a Wendy-Leslie sandwich. He's getting bolder in his old age, that's for sure. I just laughed, and said "NO! Only in your dreams"...Covered the YAIAA All-Star soccer game last night. Actually, did a little featurey thing on one of the players. It was hard to pick one to write about. All of those guys who played were great, finally settled on one of the goalies. Story was o.k., not one of my best, but good enough to run I gues.

O.k., so enough of my rambling on. It's a quiet night at the YDR so I'm going to catch up on some emailing.

Sweet dreams y'all.
