Today is such a beautiful day. The sun is shining and it is just cold enough to make me want to pick up and leave work to go skiing. Sigh, I wish I would have had some time to get on the slopes this season. With the weather being so warm all winter and my not having very much free time, I was unable to go. Maybe if the weather is nice next week I'll try to get out.

Talked to my friend Leslie last night. We were discussing the upcoming weekend festivities and I think I've been underestimating how big of a shin-dig this parade is in Hoboken. While she will not be at the same party I am going to, we are going to try to get together during the course of the evening. I am not sure but I may ditch out of Chris's and go hang with Les and her crew. We will have to play that one by ear though. She told me she received another acceptance letter, this one for Seton Hall. I am still holding out for her coming back here and going to Dickinson but I doubt that will happen. Who knows though. I had to laugh when she told me her theory as to why she has not heard from NYU yet. According to Les, they have her application tacked up on a bulletin board and are using it as their daily dose of humor.

Can I just say all my friends make me feel like a major slacker?! Holy crap. Not only have they all managed to escape this place, but they all have great jobs and are actually doing something they like. Ugh. I need to get on the ball and get moving with sending out more resumes.

On that note, better go back to work. Just needed to sneak in a little internet break. I am so evil sometimes, who knows, maybe the evil agategoddess will make an appearance this weekend...only time and copious quantities of alcohol will tell.
