It is Monday. My one day off and where am I? At work. Since I am sans computer at home I decided to escape the apartment for a little bit and come here to get some work done. In other words, I am putting together some resumes. Two are for writing related positions in New England (Mass. & Conn.) and the other is for an admissions representative at one of the local upper level schools. Believe it or not, I feel more qualified for the later than the former. For the past four years I have been on the recruitment committee for my wonderful alma mater. Every fall we go out to college fairs and try to convince people to come to Ship. The enthusiasm of the kids just astounds me. I can barely remember being that excited about the next chapter in my life. Sigh. If you can not tell I have been a funk lately. Not sure what has triggered said funk, but it is there. A big part of it is I need a change. Hopefully I will hear something from either one of these jobs I am applying for.

Had a very long week last week. Put in a ton of hours at job #2 and was so exhausted that I did not wake up until well after 10 Saturday morning. Kind of threw the rest of my day out of whack. Then again the nap I took during the Penn State game did not help. I miss naps. We (my roommates and I) used to take naps almost everyday in college. From about 3 to 5 every afternoon. Ah, those were the days.

Better finish up with what I came here to do. Fun.
