Finally heard from Erin Sunday morning around 6:30 a.m. She finally had Addyson by cesarean section around 1 a.m., all 12lbs 8 oz. of him. Talk about a big baby. We've been joking around about how Joe Pa is already starting recruitment. At that size, he's got a good future as a Penn State linebacker already started. They could use the help too, though not from the players. Its the officials that have every PSU fan in an uproar. Heck even Joe Pa is pretty ticked about the officiating problem in the Big Ten. I don't blame him, there were some pretty shadey calls on Saturday.

Very excited about the start of college basketball season. Looks like my boys are starting their season off on the right track. Hopefully they'll make a pretty good showing in the ACC this season. It will be weird not having the usual names show up in the box scores but with the incredible recruiting Coach K did last year and some of the underclassmen who didn't see much time last year getting in there, the Blue Devils should do just fine. Of course, Coach K is god so that is really all you need to know.

Found out something very interesting from my sister, my parents are going to take a few short trips together next month. Alone. Just kind of struck me as odd that my mom would not have mentioned it too me. Especially after everything that has been going on over the last couple of years. Sigh. Is it any wonder I feel like I'm about 86 instead of 26? They are going to the PSU game the first weekend in Nov. and then out to St. Louis to see my cousin Brent and the girl he knocked up before Thanksgiving. Yeah, my 20 year old cousin is going to be a daddy. When I found out I just wanted to smack him upside the back of the head and say hello, every hear of condoms?! Kids these days.

Sigh. See what I mean about life moving at warp speed. Let me rephrase that, everyone else's life is moving at warp speed while mine is stuck in reverse. I need a change. A big change. If only I knew what that should be...
