Little post script about my evening last night. Since I did not end up getting anything for my obit story, Scott the city editor sent me out to chase down a story. A real story too. Not some fluffy piece. We received a tip from a local about a police chase through the area Friday night that started in Dover and ended in Balt. County with the driver's death. Thing is, we never saw anything about it, the other paper did not have anything on it and none of the local tv stations (for what they are worth) did not have anything on it either. I spent 45 minutes driving around to local police stations involved in the chase looking for info. Stupid cops only gave me the run around. Finally had to give up and go back to the office. I was all kinds of psyched to do something with this story and couldn't do jack squat. Bastards.

Gotta run. Work is calling.
