This is what is happening today. The shooting occured at the school where my room mate teaches. I was freaked out for most of the morning until she called to say she was o.k. God above, what is happening to kids these days?! When I was that age the thought of doing something like that to a principal or teacher never crossed my mind. Sure, I got mad at teachers but never enough to do something like this. Never. Maybe there is something to this whole censoring out violence movement.

Oh God, I just sounded Republican. I need to go watch last night's West Wing.

MUCH LATER

Sitting at work, waiting for scores to come in. We're almost finished with the spring high school season which means easy coasting through the summer with local baseball. Yee-ha. I'm not even interested in what's happening with the NHL playoffs now that the Av's are gone. Oh, I'll probably watch the Stanley Cup finals but that will be it. I don't have time to watch the rest. Speaking of hockey, here is a picture of our team from our scrimmage with the Blades. You can just barely see my head on the left hand side in the second row (we're in black). I can't wait until we get our own jersey's and start playing in the the league. I have been named the official enforcer on the team. Which is pretty funny considering I'm only 5' tall. LOL, I take it as a compliment though, that's the kind of person I am, I generally don't take too much crap from anyone.

So now I'm regularly emailing two of the guys who replied to my profile. The one guy gave me his phone number already. Guh. I don't know what to do with that one. I guess it can't hurt to talk to him over the phone, right? I'm still not sure if I'm going to continue my profile after my month is up. Then there's Bob. The original monkey wrench in my dating life, or lack there of. We went to the Orioles game on Monday and decided to go to dinner before we went over to Camden Yards. While we were talking on the way down the highway, I mentioned about Room mate Marti's revelation she wanted to find a job with the D.O.D. (Dept. of Defense) as a teacher on an Army base somewhere. This would mean she would be moving out. But I digress. Bob said (jokingly I thought) that he would just move in then. I laughed it off and continued the conversation but he kept bringing it up as the night went on. Weirded me out a little bit. I guess I would like that if he moved in, but then what? Sigh.

Instead of Bridget Jones' Diary, it should have been Agategoddess' diary.

I need to get some work done, or make it look like I'm doing work. Which ever comes first. Early deadline tonight. At least I'll be crawling into bed before 12:30 a.m.
