Saw Courtney on tv tonight. It was great to see her again. I'm having a hard time reconciling the Courtney I knew in high school with the Courtney I saw on the 6 o'clock news. Who knew? Next it's Bob's turn. He's due to find a good job at a tv station somewhere. Sigh. I would really like to see him get a full time gig doing weather but I don't want him to leave. That day is coming soon and I am dreading it with every fiber of my being. He was talking about taking a trip to Florida this fall. I would love to go. I've never been there. Considering my lack of vacation days, that trip may be put on hold until next year. Good part is his mom has time share points we can use down there. Not sure how I feel about an extended trip like that with him. One side of me is saying "Woo-hoo! Go for it! Florida! Sun! Fun! A little something something!" The other half is saying "Are you nuts?! You can't hold your emotions in on a trip like that. Jeez, why don't you just go and tell him to run away while you're at it." Love sucks.

My vacation days are going to shrink by even one more when I take off for computer training at job #2. Bugger. Sucky part is I have no choice in the matter. We're upgrading our system so those of us who do layout have to come in for some extra training. Woo-Hoo. In the end its a good thing I guess. More experience and all of that stuff.

What in the heck is going on here? As a fan of a certain ACC school that usually romps through the league I have no problem with Syracuse, Miami or BC joining the league. It makes more sense for Miami geographically. The sad part is it will mean the end of the Big East if all of this happens. Who's going to want to see the other schools? Pitt? Yeah, they had a good year this year but can they keep it going? Doubt it. Rutgers? Uh, no. It's going to happen, the question is when.

Might actually check out some golf on tv this weekend. Watch Annika kick some bootie. Would serve those snotty golf bastards right. Boring sport. I don't have the patience for it personally. I've played too many years of field and ice hockey.
