Some weekend. I don't even know where to begin. Let's start with the major event of the last three days, the wedding. Ah, the wedding. I made it to Northeast Philly with little problem, got checked into the Double Tree Club on Roosevelt/Route 1 (very nice place) around 5ish. After a short nap I ran to McDonalds, bad I know, for dinner then went to visit Erin, Tim and Addyson in Harleysville just off of the Northeast extension. We had a good time hanging out, talking, watching Harry Potter. My weekend started to go down the tubes when I went to leave, made it almost back to the PA Turnpike and realized I had left my wallet at Erin and Tim's ( I was sharing pictures). Sooo, at 11 p.m. I did an illegal U-turn in the middle of Route 68, hit a curb pretty hard with my front right tire and drove like crazy back to the house, the whole time praying I hadn't given myself a flat. By the time I made it back to Erin and Tim's, woke them up, got my wallet back and got back to the hotel it was around midnight.

Then I realized I not only forgot my glasses but my contact solution too. Sigh.

Next day things started going from bad to worse when the phone call I was dreading but half expecting came around 11:30 a.m. My mom was freaking out because my dad wanted to drive seperatly. At least he was still going! She didn't want to com and if she wasn't going to come then my dad wasn't going to come and my sister wanted me to drive the 2 hours back home, pick her up and bring her back out for the wedding. After losing my temper, telling my father it would have been better if he had just left when all of this started, calming down, apologizing and getting my mother to calm down again, they agreed to come to the wedding. Like that nice run on sentence? But I digress. We made it through the wedding at the Glen Foerd Mansion in one piece even with all of the rain. The whole group of us decided that the rain was Kevin's way of saying screw you to Vanessa. LOL, it probably was. When the minister asked if anyone objected I could almost hear the yelling in my ear. He was there though. I can tell you that. Reception was good, food was excellent, beverages by the wonderful bartender (don't ask me how many, lost count after my second Alabama Slammer) were very yummy and all in all a good time. Heck, even Vanessa was nice the whole evening. There was more drama that night when my dad wanted to leave early and my mom wanted him to stay. He left around 3 a.m., mom left this morning around 7. Carrie and I stayed to enjoy brunch with Chet, Kathy and the rest of the crew. I swear, sometimes I wonder who the "adults" in our family are. So now Casey and Vanessa are leaving for their honeymoon tomorrow. If I remember right they're going to parts of Belgium, Denmark and western Germany. Sounded like fun. Almost makes me want to get married. Almost.

Made it home by around 1. Bob and I didn't make it to the movies, neither did Marti or I. I called Bob around noon from the Turnpike and woke him up. When I told him where I was he promptly told me he was going back to sleep and would talk to me later in the week. End of conversation. Sigh. So I went to visit my cousin Brent, his fiance Lindsey and their baby Lexi. They came in on Saturday and are leaving very early tomorrow morning to drive back to St. Louis. Rather them than me. That's one trip I don't want to drive anytime soon.

As you may have guessed I didn't do too well on the food front. Everything went fine until I got to Philadelphia. Now I just need to get my butt back in gear and get back on track. One positive, I did manage to get about 30 minutes of exercie in on Sunday morning. That has to count for something.
