I'm procrastinating again. Well, not really. I did get some interviews done on my story and started the first couple of graphs (or paragraphs for you non-newspaper types). Still need to contact one of the players for the team I'm previewing. I got the biggest kick out of the one player I did get in touch with tonight. He was going on and on about how the coach has given the seniors all of this responsibility this year...it's up to them to get the kids motivated...a lot of the kids are stepping up to help the team. Blah, blah, blah. The funny part about that was this 17 or 18 year old calling his team mates kids. Lol. I guess when you're at the top of the heap those poor souls in 9th or 10th grade are kids. I didn't have the heart to tell him he's still just a kid himself.

Work was sucky today. It started off well but went down hill about mid-morning with one phone call. Sigh. I had a whole list of things I wanted to get finished today and never got around to them. In an effort to be more organized I've started leaving myself lists at the end of the day for the next. Basically just trying to prioritze. It usually lasts all of the first two hours of my day and then any sense of being organized flies out the window. Bloody job. I found a cool website that's motivated me to get back into the hunt for a way to get my teaching certification. I mean, how cool would it be to live overseas for a few years! I'm all jazzed about this idea. Really, it does make sense. I'm single. No kids. No pets and I love to travel. What more could a person ask for? Ohmygosh, imagine if I got a job in IRELAND! Ack! I'd faint on the spot.

Must call McDaniel College tomorrow. Screw this state and the State System of Higher Education. If I can go just a little south and get an equal education then so be it. Chad, you should look into this too. We could carpool!

Damn you Tom Ridge! Damn you!
