So the computer wasn't as fried as was originally thought. Our very busy and very frazzled IS guy finally stopped at my desk today to take a real look at my computer. The culprit was the mouse. Or more correctly whomever moved my computer during the last round of redecorating. When the computer desk was moved the line for the mouse from the tower was smushed under the desk. Eventually it pinched off the entire line. Problem was easily solved with a new (or slightly used) mouse was installed. All is back to normal for now.

Had to give up hockey again tonight. The Blades practice Tuesday nights and I had already scheduled myself to work at job #2 before I joined them. Blah. I hadn't exercised because I was counting on hockey tonight to work off some calories. Tomorrow I think I'll get a run in over lunch then go to kickboxing after work. Hopefully that will make up for my lack of activity today.

I'm excited for the long weekend to start. Let me rephrase that, I got excited about the long weekend after someone at job #1 reminded me we had one starting Friday at 5. Sigh. Time just slips right by so fast I had completely forgotten about Labor Day weekend. So now I'm looking forward to a few extra hours of sleep and maybe a trip to Hershey Park on Monday. I would like to ride my favorite roller coaster at least once this season. The height requirements are named for various Hershey products. Cute, as long as you're a Jolly Rancher (over 60"). Do you know how humiliating it is to be a Twizzler (54"-60") at the age of 27?! Sigh. The things we short types go through.

Finally, chocolate is good for you. Excuse me while I go out for a Hershey's Special Dark.
