Yesterday I had a nice short post all typed and ready to put on the old blog and didn't my freaking computer crash! Ugh. Technology is great as long as it's working. Until our IS guy gets here, which could be anytime between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. I will be without a computer. This post is being done on someone else's before everyone starts arriving. I feel like James Bond.
The baseball game Wednesday night was fun. In between duping the usher, watching the bird's get 8 of their 9 runs in the first three innings and the drunk idiot who danced all over the place to YMCA we all had a good time. Bob's friend Pat is very nice. Like I said though, when Leslie's around I don't stand a snowball's chance in hell. She even got hit on while we were standing outside of the bathroom waiting for the guys! Some random man was walking by stoped, turned around, looked at her and said "Beautiful! Just beautiful!" Then he just kind of glanced at me and walked away. She's got the gift. No one's ever called me beautiful and meant it.
Had a very nice quiet evening at home last night. I had every intention of going to the gym right after work but when I got there I didn't have my damn card to get in. So I went home and did some of room mate Marti's new Pilates video. I have to admit, it was quite a workout. This morning I was going to get up and go running before work. That idea lasted until my alarm went off at 5 a.m. and I told it to take a hike. I'll have time in between jobs later today to get in at least 30-45 minutes on the eliptical or treadmill.
A remake of Charlie and the Chocolate factory is in the works. I love that they have tapped Johnny Depp to play Willie Wonka. Just hope they leave in the Oompa Loompas.
