Thank heavens its Friday. This was an unusually long and tiring week. I'm starting to get the hint that I have too much on my schedule. Wednesday night room mate Marti and I were talking about our respective upcoming weekends and when she went to be early I just looked at her and said, I'll see you...um...Sunday I guess. Between her schedule and mine we are rarely home at the same time. In fact there are some weeks where I go days without seeing her.

Nothing super big is planned for the next two days. With the trip coming up next week Bob and I are keeping it low key this weekend. He's working tonight and most of tomorrow. We'll meet up at his house after he get's finished and watch a movie or two. I'm taking my 10 year old cousin Calvin on a ghost tour of the downtown area tonight. It's pretty cool. I hope he likes it. He's a pretty easy going kid so I'm sure we'll have a good time. Granted I'll be trying to push down bad memories of the last time I did this (it was Dan's and mine first date. Check the archives from about two years ago if you need a reference). Bastard. Tomorrow night I have hockey and then Sunday Bob and I are probably going to go to the Apple Harvest festival in a little town not too far from here. Lots of crafts and food. I of course will be trying to avoid the food as much as possible, but I will definitely need a homemade birch beer. Yum.
