One holiday down, one more to go. Thank god. I spent Thursday and Friday curled up in a ball on my couch begging for cold medicine and an end to my misery. Thanks to my sister I caught a touch of the flu that is going around. Yesterday I finally started to feel human again (at least enough to play hockey) and today, I'm toughing it out for work. Nobody better say that I'm not dedicated to job #2.

Christmas went well. In fact, it was pretty quiet which as I get older is more and more appealing. My father made a grand announcement during our gift exchange that he was moving back home (I'll believe it when I see it) and that 2004 was going to be different. Yeah, sure. My mom, sister and I had dinner with my aunt's house. After a marathon round of Uno I slipped out to Bob's place. Deb met up with us a little later so we could do a drive by of the new house. It is very cute. I love it. He's getting the keys Jan. 31 and will be moving in sometime in February. If I'm lucky maybe he'll let me move in with him. Room mate Marti has been in one heck of a bad mood. Today she got all pissy with me when I stopped home for lunch because I haven't vacumed yet. This girl needs to get a life. I left the apartment early to come in to work. I don't need to deal with that today. Frankly I'm getting sick of her whole attitude lately. She leaves the impression that our place is actually her's and I'm just allowed to live there. Ugh. I want my own place again.

New Year's promises to be low key. I actually don't have any plans yet. Marti is probably going to do something with Colin, Bob has to work until closing that night and must be at the tv station the next day. Guess it will just be Dick Clark and I ringing in the New Year. Woo-hoo. My life is just so exciting I can hardly stand it.
