Spent some time in the emergency room last night. Before you all go getting hyper (because I know you all care sooo much...yeah right) it wasn't me that was being treated. My friend Jonda from hockey got hit on the head with a puck. It was really the most crazy thing I've ever seen. She was just walking by one of the ends where the net is when one of the guys on the ice ripped a shot that bounced off of the crossbar, went over the safety net (ironic, huh?) and nailed her melon. Now that I think about it, the whole thing is pretty darn funny. Only because it wasn't me that got hurt. At the hospital Jonda was trying to hook me up with the nurse practitioner, Steve, that was taking care of her. He was kind of cute and very funny but as usual, he was more interested in Jonda than me. Sigh story of my life.
Bob got a house! I was supposed to go with him to see it last night but, well, a hockey puck and Jonda's head had other plans. He's going to show it to me tomorrow. Since I'm sure I'll need a break from the family I'll take any excuse I can to get out of Dodge.
With that dear friends and occasional readers of my blog, I would like to wish you a very Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukah (a week late, I know) and a Happy Kwanza. Or whatever. Here's a little quiz for you, consider it my present to you...

Norah Jones: Don't Know Why
You're artistic, creative, and you respect other
people. You must be perfectionist and
sensitive.

Or you can check out this one. Mmmm...CHOCOLATE!

You're chocolate. You're the old soul type, people
feel that they have known you their entire
life. Many often open up to you for they view
you as thoughtful and trustworthy. Although
people trust you, you have a hard time trusting
them. You prefer to keep your feelings bottled
up inside, or display them very quietly. It is
alright to open up every once in a while.

Can you tell I'm bored already. Sigh, it's going to be a long four hours.
