Weekend, weekend! Woo-hoo! Is it just me or has this week been the slowest freaking week ever? Blah. Still haven't finished my shopping. Or done my cards. Bob yelled at me Wednesday night because I told him I didn't know if I would find the time to get cards done this year. Whatever. Unlike him, I don't have all day to sit at home, watch movies and write Christmas cards. On the up side I found out I don't have to work Christmas eve at job #2 like I thought I would. Very cool. Now I can actually go to a Christmas party I usually miss each year. Rocking.

Had a very interesting surprise at job #1 today. We actually got a bonus this year! Shocking considering how we didn't get anything last year. It will definitely come in handy as I pay off some more bills. Sigh. That money should be going toward fun stuff, not my mountain of bills. Maybe I'll find a few extra pennies here and there to buy something for myself...hmmm...I like that idea.

Still haven't come up with anything to do on New Year's eve. I will be working at job #1 until at least 2 p.m. then after that...nothing really. Bob is scheduled to work and everyone else will be out of town or off with their boyfriend/husband/fiance/significant other. Sigh. Another year alone. Maybe I'll just get some movies, a bottle (or 2) of wine and watch the ball drop with Dick Clark.
