Hurrah for Chad! He finally got a new job... Posted by Hello

although I doubt it's as a Junior Plant Detective. But hey, you never know!

You know what this means right? Extra partying this weekend during our alma mater's homecoming. Woo-hoo! Bar tour anyone? Yeah right. Like any of us can still hang like that anymore.

*******************************
I have never been more happy to see two days end than the last two. Talk about going from bad to worse. The full time job has presented me nothing but a major headache as soon as I walk in the door in the morning. It seems that some of my coworkers can't be bothered to double check for changes to our pages so I end up having to completely start over, from scratch on deadline mind you, within 20 minutes of my arrival. Guh. Things at the Lobster haven't been much better. Endless Shrimp or Let's make the waitress run around like a chicken with it's head cut off then leave her a crappy tip as I like to refer to it, is the bane of my existance. Cheap ass Canadians and inhabitants of this freaking county. Grrrrr...only 4 more weeks of it then it's gone. For good. I hope.
On the upside I was invited to see the Hershey Bears preseason game Oct. 3 in the suite my full time job occupies. Very cool. With the lockout going on in the NHL the minor leagues will be the best ticket in town for half decent hockey. While I'll surely be enjoying myself at the game with Lyzz in tow and the big wigs from advertising it will only serve to remind me of what I'm giving up this season.
After taking a hard look at my finances I decided it's time to start trimming back. Big time. So unfortunately, I'll be sitting this season out. I don't want to totally give it up so I'll be at practices when I can (we can pay on a practice by practice basis) and they can use me for subs when they need to but it just isn't in the cards for me this season. There's no way I can afford it. So now I'll just sit back for a season, rest my knees, get my coaching certification in December and come back next year after I've saved some dinero and gotten some bills paid off.
Hopefully.
