Let it snow...
With the recent turn for the colder in my neck of the woods, my thoughts have turned to snow and the sheer joy of the first time any lands in the yard. I'm like an eight year old watching the first snow fall from the inside of a classroom when it comes to the stuff.
And if it happens to snow while I'm at work? Forget about me getting any work done.
At my last full time job I had a corner all to myself that included a door with a large window and a window itself. The first snowfall of the season usually rendered me useless. The excitement is just too much the first snowfall of the season usually rendered me useless.
I'd press my nose to the glass and dream of getting at least one trip in to the local slopes. Or sledding down the large hill near my apartment. Or even making snow angels, which I've been known to do over my lunch hour in my good work clothes.
I found the nifty little link to make your own snowflakes (like my first try above) over at Joelle's little corner of the web. I'm sure I'll return to it when I get bored at the current full time job.
Oh the weather outside is frightful...
Brin it on baby! BRING.IT.ON.
