Aaaaand Theeennnnn

I've been a chicken with a capital C-H-I-C-K-E-N.

No, I haven't called yet. Numerous negative thoughts have been running through my head since Wednesday night along the lines of he was drunk and didn't relize what he was doing. He was just being nice. He doesn't see me like that (the last one I could deal with. maybe.). You name it, the insecurity has reared it's ugly head.

I've also been in consultation with some friends regarding the incident because, really, no matter how ungirly I can be, I still am one, and tend to answer to my genetice makeup when it comes to boys, shoes and purses. But I digress. After talking to two or three of my female friends, I decided I needed the male perspective. And my room mates are both useless in these types of situations.

So I emailed someone who I knew would tell me how it is. It's one of the qualities I admire about the guy, he's a straightshooter. And as much as I hate to admit it, knows me more than I care to acknowledge. His advice? If a guy gives you his number he wants you to call. According to the Advisor, at least in his case, he's not going to give some girl his number he doesn't want calling him. The reciprocation with the digits was a good thing. And maybe wait until today during the day to call.

Man can that guy read me like a book.

So here I am, almost ready to leave work, and still haven't called. He works too, and I'm not sure if the number I have is a cell or home. I'd hate to interrupt him during his day if he's busy (what with him being the big boss man and all). In my email I told him I would be working at the part-time with the promise of some cookies if he stopped by (I'm not above bribing people with homemade baked goods).

We'll see. I might call him anyway. I don't know. Any thoughts from the masses on this?
