An uplifting experience

Even before the check was deposited in my account, I knew it. Didn't matter that it was raining or that I had about 500 other things to do. Nope. Yesterday, was a retail therapy day.

Girls, you know what I'm talking about.

And in my own defense I was in need of a few things, khaki's for the new part time and a new jean skirt (a little shorter than my last one but just as effective) to replace my ripped and now too big former one) and bras. I will confess here and now that I am the worst when it comes to shopping for underthings. For the longest time it all had to come from Vickie's (we're on a first name basis now) but then I started, well, not caring since hey, I was the only one seeing it anyway so what did it matter.

But yesterday, after leaving Old Navy very proud of myself for not going overboard AND fitting into the next size down (woo-hoo!) I went to the mall. Primary goal was to get a birthday present for my grandmother's birthday party. Secondary, replace the bra with the wire poking out that I've been wearing for the last week and a half. I did manage to pick up one of these little numbers for everyday and then I let the salewoman talk me into one of these (in black). Because, you know, every girl needs a good push up.

And sweet moses does it push up.

Ahem.

This may just be one of the best investments I've ever made. I'm wearing it today to test it out. So far it's very comfortable and the girls are definitely on display, not too much of course because I am at work and lord only knows there's no one here I need to impress (that means you Former One Night Stand).

Still, I can't wait to see if I can provoke some kind of a response.

Because sometimes I am that girl. And I like it *rawr*

PS - Anonymous, you better stop leaving such flattering comments. I might start believing they're true.
