All right kids, for those of your interested in the goings on in our Nation's capitol hop on over to Wonkette and see what's cooking with a slightly liberal bent. Not sure if I'm a closet voyeur or not, but I've been playing with the webcams all morning.

Yesterday about an inch or so of snow finally fell on the area. Not much, but enough to send most people in the area scurrying to their local supermarket for TP, milk and bread. It's a local phenomenon. The slightest hint of snow and the grocery stores are mobbed. I'm sure this weekend will be the same way as the forecast is showing our first major snow event of the season.

I was probably only one of a few people happy to see the snow. Winter has always been my favorite season. There's nothing better than getting all bundled up in your heavy P.J.'s and settling in with a good book. Since the room mate had already cleaned off the sidewalk I didn't even have to do that when I got home. Very nice. The whole cold snap and falling flakes has definitely added to my excitement for the impending trip to Killington.
