One month in and no one has been strangled

Monday marked one month since Will and I moved in together. And surprisingly, he isn't ready to throw me out yet. Admittedly, I'm not the easiest person to live with. I tend to be forgetful and leave lights on or forget to turn off T.V.'s (took me twice leaving the television on all day before Will told me I wasn't hitting the right button on the remote). And I know I leave things (clothes, ahem) that should just be put away right away. But I'm getting better. Dishes are being done right away and messes are left only for a day, not weeks. Hey, baby steps.

We actually hit our one and a half year anniversary at the end of September. I feel like it was just yesterday we had our first date, sitting on his couch watching "Stripes". Who knew? Really, who knew that after all the stops, starts and broken heart moments I would be here, living with someone who I can't wait to come home to everyday and love waking up next to every morning? All of my previous relationships or attempts at relationships I should say seemed like such work. Hard work. A struggle even in one or two cases. But this, well, this is easy peasy lemon squeezy.

I know that even the best relationships have their moments of struggle, and trust me, we have had ours. But with each one I get the feeling that we're getting stronger together. And not only does Will have my heart in love but in friendship too. Like they say, falling in love with your best friend is having the best of all worlds. Lucky for me, I finally understand what that means.

Congrats Wendy. I am so happy to hear this and can't think of a person who deserves this more than you.
